Martha Stewart Home Office – Giveaway
OK – you can all stop laughing now. Martha Stewart I am not.
Yes, I am doing a giveaway for Martha Stewart products.
Bite Me. Its pretty. I like pretty. You cant always see the pretty for the mess, but I really like pretty.
I got an email a few weeks back wanting to know if I would like to do a review/giveaway for Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery. I basically chuckled to myself, about to hit delete, thinking how ironic it was for me to receive this pitch but then I saw a picture on the email and it was really pretty. So pretty. A desk all set up, just so. Awwwww. I thought surely with these products that they were offering me, my desk too could look like this??
I looked at my desk.
Yep – prime contender to be Martha Stewarted if I ever saw one.
So I replied and said yes, I would love to receive their package to review and could I please have one to give away for one of my lovely readers?
Sure thing they said, so here we are 🙂

So – the Martha Stewarting started.
I had to get rid of these which G Man had adorned my desk with over 4 years ago. One nappy wipe and half and hour later they were gone – remember how you used to get rid of your rego stickers with a wet piece of newspaper? Yep, that was how I did it with a wipe.
Fortunately as I was Martha Stewarting, our big canvas print of our Christmas holiday that I had ordered arrived so it now helps the look by being placed directly over my new-look desk – I am thrilled!
1,2,3 Awwwwwww – its it pretty???
You cant really tell from the photo, but the set itself is kinda like a faux crocodile skin leather look, really tasteful and classy. The drawer hides all my bills and scrap pieces of paper and I can pop my bits and pieces into the little organiser and pretend I am organised. I have hidden all my important papers into the magazine file under my desk out of sight and I have no idea what to use the journal for, which is also bound by the same faux leather look. Any ideas?? Saaaaah perdy!!! The web page describes the set as white, but its really a cream/pearl. Next time I am up in Perth I think I might pop into Officeworks and see what else I can get to match this set on my desk – I am crushing on their other things too 🙂 I have also just ordered myself a matching office chair in a cream as well – Squeeee!!!!! How pretty will my desk corner be?
This is what I did with the Chalk Board labels – my writing is more Comic than Comic Sans but it will do – I might get G Man to do the rest of the Drawer Set.
These are great, they wipe off well for mixing things up and peel off really easily for if you decide you don’t want them on your stuff anymore.

My precious boy has autism and likes all his stuff organised “just right”. These labels would be great for him as he could write them out himself, exactly how he wants 🙂
I’m about to do a toy room makeover so the chalk board labels would come in very handy
If big enough (or put two together) I would put next to kids’ beds and write some kind of positive affirmation each night. I’d probably even create a Positivity Fairy. Or I’d put them on the inside of their lunchboxes to write totally embarrassing mum stuff each day.
I would label my dishwasher ! Because for some strange reason, nobody in my house can find it ! Ha ha
The chalkboard stickers would be great to stick on my identical twin boys so people can tell them apart! Just kidding but sometimes I wish I could wack a name sticker on their foreheads.
In the real world they would be great to mark the shelves in my pantry so ‘people’ could put containers back where the belong!
I would love the chalkboard labels so that my linen cupboard can stay tidy, I have a very clever husband that folds and puts away laundry, but never seams to be able to put the items inthe right space so we can find what is required
I would like to use them in my pantry so that I can easily find stuff that has been stashed poorly ( everything) but I think they would be best used to label my husbands things so that he can find them easily thus reducing the amount of nagging I receive. Things like ‘towel, needs to be put back here’ ‘socks all black make your own pairs’ ‘dirty laundry here, would be better in the wash tho’ and so on.
OhMyGosh!!!
This would be amazing to help “direct” my husband to all the “important” stuff…, so he’ll stop asking where things “live” or are “hidden” from him…. Aggghhh!!
Bless him – hahaha!!
🙂
I would be in heaven with the chalkboard labels in my pantry on my tupperware. I’m gluten free and my family is not, it just might stop my atomic meltdowns when the kids eat my expensive gf baking, while innocently saying ‘I didn’t see the container saying gluten free’ 🙂
Xxo
We are about to buy our very first home 🙂 and we plan on using the space to house a fab new playroom! these chalkboard labels would be perfect for organising the different doodads and whatnots that accumulate in fun storage tubs 🙂
I would use it to help sort out my office and craft supplies. It would be awesome to help label my craft drawers. No more searching for what I want.
I already have some of the Martha Stewart labels in my pantry after a few #disasterchef fails from leaving them unlabelled. Scones were like paperweights (for my desk haha) and hubby mixed up sugar and salt so the pancakes were eeeewww. My fault – no labels.

I have taught my toddler what the word NO looks like (believe me, she already knows how to say it). The little darling is the light of my life and joy of my heart…. and yes, she drives me nuts. Cannot leave anything alone. EVERYTHING must be poked, prodded, investigated, pulled, thrown or stamped on. She is so sweet, I love her so. Every single one of those beaut little labels would have the word NO written on them and I would put them up all over my house – on the vanity door – on the laundry door – on my perfume bottle – on the dust pan – on her sister’s school bag – on the TV – on the Weetbix – on the toolbox – on my sewing kit – on the utensil drawer – on her nose – on the CD stand – well, I think you get the picture. When she’s a bit older I can wipe them clean and change it to MAYBE…… 🙂
Congratulations – you have won the competition 🙂
Please email me at lisawilson@iinet.net.au with your full name and postal address, I will forward it on to the Martha Stewart team 🙂

WOOHOO! Thank you Mrs Point Five!! You have greatly improved an all too ordinary day 🙂
I would use one of the labels to mark my son’s sock drawer with the word – sock, and I would put one on the undie drawer with – undies. I would hope that would solve the two questions that I get asked every single day of my life. Than I would do the same thing for my husband…….
I would use them for my kids lunch boxes. I make their lunches at night but my Hubby frequently gets them mixed up the following day. So, II would either label the lunch box, or the fridge shelf which the lunch box is on.
I would use them to label pretty bottles of drinks at parties. I would also use them on wine glasses to write names on. I would draw pics of undies, socks and hair ties to make it easier for my dd to put away.
I have stickers on my desk too! I’d use them on my magazine files – so I can write down and change what is in them.

I would use the chalkboard labels for our storage crates in the garage, maybe it would help stop everyone rummaging through crates of Christmas ornaments looking for other stuff!
As a member of 6 committees, I would use them to label all the plain boring boxes I use to file paperwork that comes with the positions. Chalkboard labels are easy to change when a committee is joined or left.
I’ve dreamt of an uber-organised pantry with little chalkboard labels on my pristine glass cannisters… Possibly literally, I have the most banal dreams sometimes.
Love a good before and after.
How would I use the chalkboard labels?
My ‘darling’ husband never never knows which drawer to get our 5 year old daughters clothes from. He’s been inducted and had his refresher but still has no idea which are the daycare/play clothes or which are the nice/going out clothes. He has asked me to get out our label machine out but I refuse (because the labels are ugly) so chalkboard labels it is!
I would stick them over the eyes of house guests so I would no longer need be embarrassed about the hazardous space we call ‘the office/spare room” #standbackwhenyouopenthedoor #worsethanthetuppperwarecupboard
Chalkboard labels where do I start, the options are endless but first I would part,
with the daggy old stickers that I currently use, that keep falling off things and keep me amused :-/
The pantry, office and garage need new, labels on items just to name a few,
but firstly I would label the boxes of toys, that take over our activity room when playing with our boys!
My little boys are in the habbit of picking up pens from our home office and drawing on walls. I will use chalkboard stickers in our home office so that they can use them for writing/drawing with chalks and don’t feel left out.
