Giveaway – EZ Cover
So the lovely people at EZ Cover approached me to help them spruik their covers, and for the one off payment of FIVE EZ Covers I agreed to show you their super easy school book covers and run a competition for you to win a $50 voucher plus the same five covers I was sent. So, for any of you saying us bloggers are just in it for the money, and sell out with nothing in it for our readers, I am here to prove you wrong! Cha Ching!!! (not) 🙂
These are the five covers I was sent; 1 scrapbook cover, 2 x A4 covers and 2 x 1B5 covers.
They are non-toxic and 100% PVC free and can be used over and over again, reducing waste.
At this time of year many parents dread having to cover all their kids books. All that sticking and cutting is time consuming. If you pop over to their website, or follow them on facebook, you can see their entire range of covers and ask them any questions you may have.

So, if you can tell me in the comments section below what is the most annoying part of getting the kids “back-to-school” ready, you could win a $50 voucher to spend at EZ Cover as well as the five covers (shown above) that I was sent.
The winner will be judged anonymously and will selected based what the judge considers to be the best or most creative answer.

Lack of time to get everything done. Winning these book covers would save me so much time ??
The horror of having to wake up at a scheduled time each morning after six weeks off! We usually have to start practicing a week before school starts back! ?
Finding the perfect lunch box, that will fit everything in and is easy for the kids. I swear I have about 100 different types and none seem to be ‘just right’. Haha ?
Feeling the pressure to ‘compete’ with the other school mums in decorating/covering school books. I haven’t got a creative bone in my body! These book covers would save a lot of time and anxiety in getting school ready 🙂
It’s not about getting the kids ready to go back to school. I hate that it means no more lazy mornings- it’s all go go go. Just so we can get out the door and not be late.
I have three boys, known for being careless and forgetful. It took me a whole afternoon just to label 176 pencils, crayons and textas olus another 16 glue stickes, 47 excersise books, scrap books and diaries, 10 erasers and let’s not forget the the other bits and pieces like lunchboxes, school bags and uniforms … … dont get me started on how long it takes to cover so many blasted books when you suffer from OCD.
These covers would be so so much simpler!
Realizing at the last minute that you are out of contact to cover books. And then that office works is out of clear contact too. And then hubbie goes to find contact and comes back a hero only to discover that the contact he found was white!! Arrrrrhh.
Book covers would be so much easier. Please help me.
The most annoying part of school preparation has to be contact!! OMG. The devil must have created it. Covering books with contact was a nightmare when I was a kid, and it still is.
‘Are they all yours?’ they ask as I pass.
‘That’s like $600 on shoes’ are the footwear shopping remarks.
‘Who carries all those bookpacks in on the first day?’
‘How does she keep up with school lunches’ I hear them say.
5 beautiful children we love with all our hearts-and these annual comments………the MOST ANNOYING PART!
Wow, I can’t believe people still use contact on their kids school books! We’ve been using EZ Covers for 2-3 years and covering books is the least annoying part of sending the kids back-to-school. The most annoying bit would be winding back their bedtimes and getting them into the habit of waking up early enough in the morning to get to school on time. It’s also that sense of dread that I get knowing that my own sleep-ins are coming to an end. This mum loves a nice and relaxing school holiday sleep-in Zzzzzzzz 🙂
She went back to school today, and I had forgotten to label anything. Big night tonight.
It was that time of year again,
Yes!!! They were going back to school,
Memories of years gone by pushed aside,
This year I’d be organised- after all,
I had a ‘smart-clever-mum-plan’,
ONE expedition and all I would buy,
No repeated trips for more and more,
Frustration in my eyes,
So I carefully planned it out,
5 lists clutched in my confident hands,
I left the toddler and baby home with dad,
So I could concentrate without their demands,
And I went from one shop to the next,
I shopped until I ached,
Then I shopped a little more,
Until no more I could take,
And I came home happy but so very tired,
I knew I had everything,
I had ticked…and ticked…and ticked…
And now I was celebrat-ing!,
Until the dreaded requests for more,
A shirt, a book not on the list,
Another pair of shoes for sport,
I swear I nearly hissed,
And yes- there was another trip,
So many I lost count,
And still they continue now,
Adding up to some unknown giant amount,
Yes for me back to school,
Is a real pain you-know-where,
Hopefully one year I’ll get it mastered,
Because I know I’m still not there!
(Haha! In all seriousness though I did post this a few days ago and it didn’t publish? Luckily I checked back- I am trying now on a different browser and I hope it works this time.)
Congrats Jessie – you have won the $50 voucher! Please email me your postal address to lisawilson@iinet.net.au 🙂

Oh wow thank you! I will email now 🙂
As Miss 10, going on 15, no longer sees the normal T-shirt, pants and half done hair (Mummy was never a morning person – still isn’t…)as okay for school, its now “proper” clothes (whatever THAT’s supposed to mean) and can you put my hair in a pony…plait…bun with this ribbon and….aaarrgggghhh
So if anything else could be made easy – say covering books? – that would be an absolute bonus!
Thank you for the competition 😀
Getting four kids (2 with special needs) out to the shops to get fitted for school shoes that will last the whole year is a nightmare, I KNOW that herding cats would be easier!
The mornings. Dealing with grumpy kids when you’re grumpy yourself (NOT a morning family at all) is the worst. Even though we try to stay fairly organised, something always seems to go wrong.
No more sleep ins.
Those school lunches. Having to get up that 15 minutes earlier just to prepare those lunchboxes!
